Oct 15: Monthly Meeting @ 6:30 PM, Lakeway Activity Center. The Dems are having a WATCH PARTY!
This meetings is a double header! First, we have our favorite State Representative Vikki Goodwin who will speak before the debate. We are so lucky to have such a dynamic and involved State Representative to address our club. Vikki might be joined by any candidates who may stop by as well.
After Vikki brings us her insights we will sit back for a viewing of the Allred/Cruz debate together. This promises to be a hard hitting debate as Colin Allred D-Dallas is a practiced debater who went toe to toe multiple times with GOP U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions in 2018 as a precurser to ousting him as the incumbent. Cruz has participated in dozens of high-stakes political debates and twice debated Beto O'Rourke who challenged him in 2018.
