Miss Del Rio by Dr. Barbara Mujica, professor emerita of Spanish literature at Georgetown University. While Miss Del Rio has not yet been banned (to our knowledge), it touches upon many issues that are often cited as reasons for censor including racism, nativism, homosexuality, and women’s rights.
