About the event
Our book is SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson. Published in 1999, the book tells the story of high school freshman Melinda Sordino who was raped at the end of a summer party. Melinda is ostracized by her peers and unable to verbalize what happened to her. Enthralling read. We hope to see you on the 26th.
